The Eureka Child program is dedicated to improving education and health for children in the poorest villages of India. Founded in 1996 by a team of IIT and BITS alumni, the program focuses on providing quality education and essential health services to children from marginalized families. The program aims to ensure that every child, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
Key Initiatives:
- Training teachers in government schools.
- Providing free evening tutoring in villages
- Establishing libraries and pre-primary centers.
Eureka Focus Villages is an initiative by AID aimed at transforming impoverished communities through integrated development efforts. The program targets specific villages, implementing comprehensive strategies to improve local education, healthcare, and infrastructure. By addressing multiple facets of village life, Eureka Focus Villages strives for sustainable transformation. The goal is to create an environment where every individual has access to the resources and opportunities needed for a better quality of life.
Key Initiatives:
- Education: English, science, and tinkering clubs; evening learning centers; early childhood education.
- Health: Access to healthcare services and livelihood programs.
- Livelihood: Support for sustainable income-generating activities.

- Rights and Entitlements: Ensuring community members are aware of and can access their rights and entitlements.
Eureka Homes focuses on providing secure and stable housing for unsheltered families. The initiative constructs modest brick and cement homes, each approximately 220 sq. ft., at a cost of $3000 per home. Eureka Homes aims to support families affected by natural disasters and severe poverty, ensuring they have a safe place to live. Through this program, we’ve already built several homes for needy families and plan to continue expanding our efforts to help more families achieve stability and security.
