Developing Curriculum: Activity-based lessons with interactive materials motivate children to explore concepts from multiple angles rather than by rote. Government, non-government schools as well as after-school centers use these methods and materials.
Strengthening Public Schools: AID partners engage with government schools to improve teaching methods and see that all children have a right to meaningful, quality education.
Reaching the Unreached: In underserved communities, AID partners run schools and bridge courses to help students in remote and tribal areas prepare for and adjust in mainstream schools. AID also supports model schools implementing effective innovative techniques in rural areas
Integrating with Civic Life: Students apply what they learn to questions they face in their communities regarding caste, class, gender, natural resources and development.
