Mukti sets up COVID care centre in Sunderbans
AID is supporting its partner Mukti in the Sundarbans to set up rural COVID care centers with a doctor. The centers will have oxygen support, medicines and oximeters. The centers will provide stabilizing care only. If the patient’s condition aggravates, the doctor will refer them to a hospital. One center will serve a village of about a 1000 households. This center serves Krishnachandrapur village. See here for Mukti’s relief and rehabilitation efforts during the aftermath of Cyclone Amphan last year.

We will follow up soon with a report about similar COVID care centres being set up in various parts of the country by our partners. Support AID’s efforts to better equip its partners to tackle the crisis!
