Meet Samit Carr, Worker Safety Activist

AID Partner Dr Samit Kumar Carr discusses his work with the Occupational Safety and Health Association of Jharkhand OSHAJ in urban and rural areas with unorganized and informal sector workers and in particular his campaign to fight silicosis and obtain compensation for kin of workers who died as a result of silicosis . Recently they have compelled the government to distribute 1.48 crores in Jharkhand and 20 lakhs in West Bengal.
