AID’s partners have been working continuously to provide relief in Kerala. Here are updates from two of our partners on the ground, Koodu Trust and AIDIndia.
Koodu volunteers have visited relief camps in Cherumad, Panamaram, Anjekunne and Kaithakal and distributed relief supplies. Around 22000 people in Wayanad are in 134 relief camps in the district. Koodu Trust will be reaching at least 427 families with family kits in Panamaram, Anjekunne, Cherukatur, Changadakadave and Parakuni villages in Wayanad.
AID India volunteers have sent 5 trucks of relief supplies thus far to Wayanad and Idduki districts. The 5th relief truck dropped off relief supplies at KVM Hospital in Cherthala near Alapuzha.
There is a lot more support needed in the affected villages. Please donate generously.
Please donate generously and help AID continue to support the people of Kerala.
