Harmony 2018 on November 3 features stand-up comedy by top-notch jokesters, Rajiv Satyal and Krish Mohan.
Rajiv grew up in the Cincinnati area, studied at the University of Cincinnati and worked at Procter & Gamble in marketing before pursuing his passion for full-time comedy. He performs regularly at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood as well as across the world. He has created over 12 videos as well as innumerable podcasts, videos, commercials and improv shows. His “I am Indian” video went viral and has over 50 million views. Dave Chappelle has said that Rajiv is, “one of the top two comics to watch”.
Krish engages audiences while tackling hot-button topics like immigration while adding an optimistic, philosophical & sociological twist! He has been featured on NPR and at several Fringe Festivals; he won the 2018 Pittsburgh Fringe Festival Audience Choice award!
Harmony events have been presented since 2002 by the Cincinnati chapter of Association for India’s Development (AID). The chapter supports sustainable development projects in India as well as promotes cross-cultural enrichment in Cincinnati.
Dr. Arun Gadre, Executive Director of SATHI-CEHAT in Pune, India, works on patients’ rights and healthcare sector accountability. He is a prolific author of novels and the acclaimed commentary of healthcare in India, “Dissenting Diagnosis”. He will be the Chief Guest at Harmony 2018.
