In India, AID is helping people whose work has no virtual option, and who lost income and assets during the summer lockdown, to restart their enterprises, get permissions to transport goods during quarantine, and reach customers. Farmers, dealing with the ongoing agrarian and climate crises as well, are struggling to defend their livelihoods, adapting sustainable agriculture techniques and also advocating for access to credit and social security.
