Ami bhoy korbo na bhoy korbo na Do bela morar morbo na bhai morbo na. [Repeat after each para] I will not fear, I will not fear I will not die before I actually face death Torikahana baite gele majhe majhe toofan mele Tai bole haal chere diye dhorbo na, kannakati dhorbo na. While rowing a boat (tori) one must sometimes encounter the storms (toofan) I will not give up the oars and break down crying (kannakati) Sokto ja tai sadhte hobe, matha tule roibo bhobe Sahaj pothe cholbo bhebe porbo na, panker pore porbo na. I have chosen the difficult (sokto) path, and will walk upright in this world I will not indulge in thinking about the easy (sahaj) path and walk into a muddy puddle. Dhormo amar mathai rekhe cholbo sidhe rasta dekhe Bepod jodi eshe pore sorbo na, ghorer kone sorbo na. I will uphold the truth (dharma) in my mind, and walk straight When I face danger (bepod), I will not turn back and seek the comfort of home. [contributed by Moni Day] Anasuya
